Today’s society has grown too comfortable allowing our next generation of leaders to enter the world of life after high school emotionally, mentally, and knowledgably ill-prepared. We as a people have become complacent with the “Sink or Swim” mentality that perpetuates the idea that our children should enter life after high school with little to none of the necessary skills needed for them to succeed. As a result, most young adults begin their first years of adulthood merely struggling to survive the rocky twists of trial and error all while fighting to figure out who they are and what they truly want from this life. She-E-O Academy was created to completely dismantle the “Sink or Swim” mentality. Instead, we work to create a space of nurturing where the next generation of women can enter the world more prepared than those before them. The program is designed to prepare our She-E-O mentees with the necessary basic skills and knowledge needed to aid in the navigation of life after high school. Touching in the 5 main topics of “Financial Literacy, Self-Care & the Female Body, Relationships & Sex, Success in Academics, and Options for Life After High School”, we are committed to doing everything needed to help shift our girls from the disheartening mentality that we must simply survive in life while also aiding them with the tools and support needed to discover who they are as an individual. Our ultimate goal is to empower a generation of women who do not simply exists to survive but instead truly indulge in the everchanging experiences offered by life that allow us to live freely in the depths of our most authentic selves.
